Description

A fine quality burr walnut, purple heart, sycamore and kingwood Victorian Period antique fold over card table. Having a rectangular top with projecting corners veneered in beautifully figured burr walnut with purple heart, kingwood and sycamore inlaid banding. Opening on an unusual concertina mechanism to reveal a baize lined playing surface with similar inlay to the border. Supported on four turned and fluted ormolu mounted supports. English circa 1880

Dimensions: 36" wide x 20" deep x 29" high

Condition: This table is in stunning condition, re-placement baize lining
