Early 19th C Panetiere Food Cupboard

Description

An Early 19th Century Fruitwood Bread & Cheese Cupboard, Panetiere.

The cupboard with an ogee cornice, above the body formed by panels of well turned and shaped spindles, each corner having a larger conforming spindle.

The front housing a rectangular lattice panelled door, complete with lock and key. The interior with a slatted bottom and panel back. the whole standing on small tapering bead feet.

Excellent warm patinated skin.

Date c 1820.

Height 25 3/4 inches, width 33 inches, depth 15 3/4 inches.
