A superb pair of walnut and parcel gilt shepherds crook leather armchairs dating to circa 1900.

Of good proportions these arm / desk chairs are extremely well constructed and of a good solid heavy weight showing a sign of quality timber used and age.

The chairs having domed backs with shepherds crook shaped walnut arms and stuff-over hand dyed leather seats with individual brass nailed finish.

Raised on wonderfully carved walnut cabriole legs with parcel gilt carved shell to the knees terminating on ball and claw feet.

Offered in excellent condition having been recently reupholstered and polished using traditional methods these leather armchairs are of superb quality and sure to make a fine addition to any home.

VIEWINGS

We have a reputation for being long established antique dealers in London having had showrooms concurrently running in Islington, Chelsea and Ascot. We have relocated our new showroom, due to London overheads, easily reached between A1 or A10 to just outside of Hertford, Hertfordshire.
