Edwardian Solid Silver Christening Mug 1909

Description

This superb SOLID SILVER CHRISTENING MUG was made by William Devenport in 1909.

With an applied scroll handle this lovely Christening Mug has a gadrooned base and a large cartouche that could be used to personalise this fabulous antique. Inside, the mug retains the original light gilding making this an exceptional piece.

Free from any added inscriptions, initials or monograms this lovely mug is in excellent condition with very little sign of wear or age and would make a wonderful gift for someone.
