A handsome antique English Nottingham style fishing reel, made from turned solid Mahogany with English cast brass. There is a star-back configuration on the reverse side with a ratchet.

Tactile and highly decorative, in excellent condition. This is the largest example I have had, tactile and an impressive size measuring 7 1/2" x 7" x 4 1/2". Dating to c.1910.
