19th century
Description

Stunning watercolour sketch by the artist Egron Sillif Lundgren (1815 - 1875). The drawing is mounted in a stunning gilt frame of the period and is in excellent condition.

Egron Sellif Lundgren (18 December 1815, in Stockholm – 16 December 1875 in Stockholm) was a Swedish watercolour painter. He studied at the Academy of Stockholm, and afterwards in Paris under Cogniet. He spent time in Italy from 1841 to 1849, devoting himself to watercolours.
