A Pair of H.vane Turner Water Colours in Original Frames Circa 1890.

Description

A very appealing pair of water colours, one signed by h.vane turner and the other by the artist although no signature apparent, circa 1890.

The original frames are gessoed and gilded and the pair are only 11 inches in height. Both in very good order with no apparent damage. One frame has the original backing with the address of the framer as shown. One of the pictures is named 'hindhead' and shows what appears to be an angler in marshland. The other picture shows trees beside a lake.
