The base is weighted to stop them being knocked over.
Both are fully hallmarked on the base with matching hallmarks on the removable drip trays. The hallmarks are for London 1894, making them a true Victorian pair; the bonus is that they were also made by one of the finest silversmith's, Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co: William Gibson & John Lawrence Langman.
Excellent condition with minor wear commensurate with age. Each measuring 3 3/4" square x 9" tall.
