Fowey River Antiques has dated this piece to the 1950s.
The watch has a 21 jewel 7AK manual winding movement.

The sub seconds dial has been fully restored so is in perfect condition, the bells lugs and the overall design is very much of the Art Deco era.
It has a solid 14ct rose gold case and has a new black leather strap.

As you would expect from Bulova the watch is fully marked on the case, dial and movement.
Bulova are one of the most exclusive watchmakers in the world and this watch certainly has that understated elegance that whispers class.

The watch case measures 23mm wide and 38mm long not including the crown.
Overall this is a watch in beautiful condition and has that elegance which never dates.
The watch has just been fully overhauled and serviced It has been fully authenticated and found to be a genuine Bulova in all respects. This watch has been fully and professionally overhauled, the process is highly detailed and meticulous

The watch is stripped down to its component parts and each part is examined under a microscope for signs of wear, any worn parts are replaced with genuine manufacturers original parts. every part is then thoroughly cleaned in a 3 stage ultrasonic cleaning process.

The watch movement is then fully assembled using manufacturer approved oils and lubricants and is carried out in a clean room environment. The watch movement is then checked and adjusted for accurate time keeping. the cases are polished and the watch sealed, in the case of waterproof watches a full waterproof pressure test is carried out to manufacturers specification.

Obviously this is not a cheap or quick process which is why our watches are sometimes a little more expensive than others but you can be assured our watches will give reliable and dependable service and will not require any further attention for many years.
