Acquired in Turkmenistan, this beautiful Turkmen torba was made by Ersary nomads in the Beshir area of the middle Amu Darya region circa 1860/1870. The subtle natural colours are outstanding and the torba is in near-mint condition with a soft, lustrous woollen pile.
