A charming true pair of decorative porcelain match holders by Robinson & Leadbeater, one depicts a lonely looking owl pearched on a ledge on his own with the words ‘Reveries of a Bachelor’ written on the base, the other depicts a pair of owls cooing each other on a log reading ‘Match Making’ on the base. Both pieces re vibrantly coloured and in excellent condition, marked on the underside each stands 7 ½ inches tall.
