An unusual late Victorian Silver plate teapot by Glaswegian silversmiths Thomas Ross & Son, very much in the Indian style it is profusely chased with decoration and embossed around the body with zodiac style symbols. This fine teapot has a hinged finial topped cover with shapely spout and is stamped with the makers mark on the underside, the cover smiles slightly otherwise it is in very good condition standing 5 ½ inches tall.
