Antique 1916 Elgin Pocket Watch and Albert

1900 - 1920
Description

Antique 1916 gold filled Elgin pocket watch and albert.

The watch has a stem winding movement, grade 293, which is working well. The movement is signed Elgin Nat'l Watch Co. U.S.A. Seven jewels and the serial number 19551741 dates it back to 1917.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the stem. The gold filled case was made by the Illinois Watch Case Co, Elgin U.S.A and was originally guaranteed for 20 years. The case has light surface marks from use but overall it is in nice condition.

The glass watch lens is in nice condition with only the odd minor mark.

The signed dial has a couple of hairline cracks and a little marking.

The watch comes with a single albert which measures 27cm long including the clasps.

The watch and albert will be sent in a new presentation box.
