Description

Finely painted Scottish Victorian oil on canvas of stag being chased by hunting dog in Scottish landscape, signed with un-identified monogram and dated 1880. Now contained in reproduction gilt swept frame. Painted recently cleaned and re-varnished and repaired in three places (see back). A great 'action' painting.

Size; 36" x 26". Canvas size 30" x 20"
