It represents Georgian ingenuity to facilitate in one piece of furniture, multiple uses.
The two "D" ends or console tables each stand on four ring turned legs ending in brass castors.
The quality and colour of the mahogany is superb and the overall condition is excellent, there are some veneer losses to the base as can be seen.
