Burr Walnut Bow Fronted Chest on Chest

1900 - 1920
Description

A charming burr walnut chest on chest, or tallboy. Well made in walnut with attractive burr walnut veneers. Of bow-fronted form and with canted corners to the top. Ample storage capacity is afforded by a series of 2 short over 6 long, graduated drawers. All drawer fronts are cross banded and are fitted with their original brass swan-neck handles. This chest also sports a pull-out brushing slide. We have had this piece sympathetically repolished to a very high standard. It is now offered for sale with an excellent colour and patina, in excellent overall condition, ready to go straight into the home.
