Hobson May Collection has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
The colour and patina of this Victorian campaign chest is excellent and the condition is very good. There is a minor crack to the inside of one short drawer, but this is not visible or detrimental as the drawer is still sturdy. This is a lovely example of 19th Century campaign furniture offering excellent storage facility and decorative appeal.
