1783 Hallmarked Silver 8 Bottle Cruet By Robert Hennell I

A fine English hallmarked sterling silver 8 bottle cruet set assayed in London in 1783 made by Robert Hennell I it is oval standing on four pierced ball & claw feet decorated around the body with bright cut festoons and pierced, dragooned borders. The cruet has a wood and a silver centre bar with chased handle and dividing bracket for the eight cut glass bottles, all with unmarked silver mounts and cut-glass stoppers.
 
Condition: Some minor flea-bite chips to stoppers and scratches to bottles otherwise the set is in excellent condition,
