Pair Vintage English Sterling Silver & Pink Enamel Topped Scent Bottles - Asprey, London

Description

A fabulous pair of little square perfume / scent / cologne bottles, made by the creme de la creme of silversmith's / retailers, Asprey of London; theses would have been extremely expensive in their day.

The crystal bottles are both topped with sterling silver lids decorated with the most popular of guilloche enamel colours, pink; a lovely bright patina showcasing the engine-turning below. Each of the silver tops are fully hallmarked for London 1927 together with the Asprey makers mark.

The lids are unscrewed to reveal the original stoppers intact to keep the precious contents within from evaporating.

Excellent condition, each measures 1 1/4" x 1 1/4" x 3 1/2" tall.
