Pair Regency Mahogany Inlaid Elbow Chairs C1800

Description

This is a gorgeous pair of antique regency mahogany elbow chairs and dating from aorund 1800. Constructed from quality solid mahogany they have a carved top rail with central panel which is strung with ebony above a reeded central cross splat with central panel again strung in ebony and with contrasting mahogany. They have reeded swept arms on a turned support and with stuff over seat pads covered in chenille that is now slightly worn in places but still very usable and easy to recover. They stand on splayed back legs and tapered front legs.

These are a gorgeous pair of original regency chairs in lovely condition and with good colour and patination to the mahogany.

Each chair measures: 34" high X seat height 17" X 21" wide X 22" deep
