Georgian Mahogany Chest on Chest C.1820.

Description

Impressive George III mahogany chest on chest c.1820. In two pieces, with two short drawers over six long drawers of graduated depth. Moulded cornice with a carved Greek key detail and crossbanded frieze. Solid mahogany drawer fronts of matched grain retaining the original gilded brass swan neck handles. Chamfered and fluted corners to the top section, original bracket feet to the base, solid mahogany sides to both. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops
