A particularly pretty English hallmarked sterling silver trinket box dated 1923 assayed in Birmingham and made by Henry Matthews it is of circular form standing on three ornate feet with Tudor rose decoration at the top. This charming box has a hinged cover with a velvet interior and the lid is decorated with pink guilloche enamel with a black enamel & silver border, the hallmarks are rubbed otherwise the box is in very good condition commensurate with use.
