Description

An Early 19th Century Gilt Convex Mirror.

The frame with concave return sides, fronted by a rounded reeded outer rim gathered with leaves to each quarter. The deep inner edge filled with corvette balls, finished to the inner rim with a stiff leaf band. The original convex plate held within an ebonized reeded slip.

Date c 1830.
