Mahogany crossbanded arch top glazed door, flanked with turned and reeded columns with exceptional gilded brass Corinthian capitals. Slim case with mahogany crossbanding and a long door with a shaped top, flanked with quarter columns with the same quality brass mounts. Deep ogee mouldings at the waist and shaped feet. With an enamelled face named for the clockmaker Richard Griffith of Denbigh featuring a rolling moon and separate date display. Brass eight day works striking the hours on a bell. Cast iron weights and a brass pendulum. Some retouching to the face, otherwise excellent condition, the case has been cleaned and polished in our workshops. The works have been cleaned and overhauled and are sold with a 12 month guarantee.
