Silver Hallmarked Cranberry Glass Quaich William Comyns 1894

A lovely English hallmarked silver and cranberry glass quaich assayed in London in 1894 made by the celebrated silversmith William Comyns, it is circular with two pierced cherub handles and the silver bowl is pierced and embossed from the outside so the decoration can be appreciated as you look down into the bowl. This charming quaich is hallmarked around the rim finished with a circular silver foot, it is in very good overall condition and measures 7 inches across.
