Howard & Son Style Easy Armchair C.1880.

Description

Late 19th.c. easy armchair in the manner of Howard & Son c.1880. With a low raked backrest over straight arms and a large sprung seat. With crisply turned walnut arm supports and front legs with original brass cup castors stamped for Cope & Collinson. One of the rear legs is also stamped with the serial number S4409. Original unrestored condition, in need of reupholstery.
