Himsworth became a member of the Sheffield Art Crafts Guild and the Red Rose Guild. In 1925 Joyce and her father created and registered their own hallmark, which contained both sets of their initials. Retiring in the 1960's her items are now widely sought after for their high quality of design and craftsmanship. This quality example has a hammered bowl and a shank embossed with a leaf and cabochon .
