Elegant Well Proportioned Oak Longcase Clock by John Calver of Woodbridge Suffolk with refined and attractive Inlaid Decoration and Dentil Decoration to the Hood.

He was born c 1695. Worked Stone Street, Woodbridge 1738. Married 1739. Died 1751

Approx 81.75in or 208cm Tall

Fine Brass & Silvered Dial with Date Chapter - 11 and 5/16th inch Chapter Ring. The Hood Door with integral Hood Columns. The Long Trunk Door Typical of the Era.

The interesting 30 Hour movement has been checked, oiled and tested - offered in good antique working condition.
