Antique Late 19TH Century French Provincial Carved Oak Canted Credence Cupboard and dating from around 1890. A solid oak French Country piece with a moulded and shaped plank top above a carved frieze and with a single door to the front which has a moulded cushioned panel carved with lozenges. It has its original iron escutcheon and working key and iron hinges. Internally it is lined with cloth with a single shelf. It has canted sides with fielded panels separated by a carved frieze. It has a carved frieze to the base and stands on stile feet. It is hand and peg joined.

MEASURES: 40.5" HIGH X 17.5" DEEP X 43.5" WIDE

With a lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
