Description

This antique walnut drinks cabinet is wonderful quality & a great looking piece with some amazing details. The upper section has a well shaped top, with two burr walnut doors & figured walnut sides. The figuring one the wood is stunning & the colour is great too. It has etched brass escutcheons & hinges. The inside of this cabinet is beautifully fitted out with partitioning, shelves & mirrors. The inside is also lined with sycamore which is also polished & in great condition too. This top section can be lifted of the base for easy transportation. The base is solid walnut & is hand carved all over. Please check out the heads which are carved out on all four corners & also the hairy paw feet. No expense was spared in making this cabinet & it must have been made for an important person. It has just been French polished on the outside & is in 1st class condition. This cocktail cabinet dates from the 1920’s period.
