Antique George 11 Country Oak Mule Chest of Unusual Size C1720

Description

This is a lovely original george 1st country oak mule chest dating from around 1720 and of unusual proportion. It has a moulded edge and two fielded panels to the top and two squared fielded panels to the front above a long and deep drawer with original brass escutcheon and handles. It is moulded to the base and stands on bracket feet. It has panelled sides and original rough hewn plank back. It has its original iron hinges and is hand & peg joined.

A very nice early georgian mule chest in very good condition and oozing the charm and character of ethe georgian period. It measures:

40" high X 21" deep X 36" wide
