Gents 1950s Smiths De Luxe Watch, Made in England

Description

A gents 1950s Smiths De Luxe wrist watch, made in England.

The watch has a hand-winding movement, with 15 jewels, which is working nicely. There are two screw holes in the movement which have no screws in, this is because the movement is held in by the retaining ring and the screws are not needed.

The watch itself measures 33.5mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is gold plated and it is in lovely condition.

The lens is in good condition.

The signed dial is in very nice condition.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
