Pair Early Victorian Carved Oak Hall Chairs C1850

Description

This is a superb pair early victorian carved oak hall chairs in the jacobean style and dating from aorund 1850. They a shaped and carved top rail above a carved vase shaped central back splat and carved side supports. They have a plank seat above a carved oak frieze and stand on barley twist and block legs on a turned foot joined by a squared stretcher.

They are a lovely pair of carved oak hall chairs in very good condition and oozing the charm and character of the period.

Each chair measures: 44" high X seat height 18" X 18" deep X 19" wide
