Description

Delightful little late 18th.c. North Wales oak dresser base c.1780. Just 53" wide, with a simple two plank top over two drawers and a two door cupboard base. Raised and fielded panel doors, flat panelled sides. Beautiful early timbers of particularly good colour and grain. Solid oak throughout, note the heavy oak backboards and drawer linings, a typical feature of pre-19th.c. dressers. Later brass handles and cupboard lock, otherwise this exceptional little base has been preserved in remarkable condition. Simply cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
