An Impressive Medieval Style Bracket Clock and Bracket

This very unusual clock is continental most likely German. It is handmade in steel and walnut and made with many components which are screwed together. It has an open spire with a large bronze bell which strikes on the half hour and full hours with a automaton steel hammer which is operated with a cord from the internal movement. The dial is hand engraved in steel and the clock has simple engraved decoration throughout together with its wrought iron bracket and both have a bright steel finish.
