Description

A Large Mappin & Webb Silver Capstan Inkwell made in 1909.

This classic style Capstan Inkwell has a beautifully designed applied rim to the base and the lid making this quite an unusual piece. Complete with glass insert (possible not original) and original leather covered base this Edwardian Inkwell is free from any added engravings, monograms or initials.

This unusual and stylish Inkwell is in superb condition despite being almost 110 years old and would look fabulous on any desk and would make a superb gift or addition to any collection.
