Description

A charming George III period LADY'S WRITING & SEWING TABLE.

This elegant table features a well-figured top inlaid with marquetry banding which lifts upwards to reveal the fitted interior which includes a gilt-tooled leather writing surface and compartments for ink bottles and pens etc.

To the side is a drawer fitted for sewing implements whilst to the front is an attractive shaped frieze. It is supported on gently tapering legs united by cross stretchers. 20ins wide; 15ins deep; 31ins high. (51 x 38 x 78cms)
