Stevens & Williams Ruby Over Citron Silver Mounted Claret Jug 1902

Offering a highly unusual Stevens & Williams two colour intaglio cut glass claret jug of tapered cylindrical form, a rare ruby over citron colour combination wheel cut around the body with flowering vines it has an arching border around the base and a polished pontil. This fine glass claret jug has a hallmarked silver mount and handle with hinged lid dated 1903, assayed in Birmingham and made by S Blanckensee & Son Ltd, the jug has some very minor surface scratches otherwise it is in excellent condition standing 10 ¼ inches tall.
