French Palais Royal Pale Green Opaline Glass Jar, Gilt Ormulu, Circa 1830

Description

This is a very elegant and always sought-after French Palais Royal dressing table jar. The pale aqua green opaline glass body having a gilt ormulu hinged lid and decorated with concentric gilt bands. The opaline surface very smooth to the touch.

Condition:

Excellent.

Glass in perfect condition. No chips or cracks.

Strong hinge.

Ormulu decorations in excellent condition.

Dimensions:

Height: 10cm / 4 inches.

Diameter: 6cm cm / 3.2 inches
