Description

Imposing mid 19th.c. mahogany combination wardrobe and linen press c.1860. Breakfronted, with a taller and deeper central section fitted with slides and drawers. Flanked on each side with wardrobes for full length hanging, retaining the original brass hanging rails and hooks. On a plinth base with three large drawers. Moulded cornice and carved corbels, otherwise very simple and uncluttered design emphasising the sparking mahogany veneers used on the door and drawer fronts. Excellent condition, retaining the original brass handles and locks. Cleaned and polished in our workshops. Keys supplied. Splits into four pieces plus cornice for ease of delivery.
