Antique Victorian Deep Buttoned Leather Armchair

Description

This is an original antique Victorian deep buttoned leather iron framed armchair in excellent condition & full of character. The colour of the leather is superb & it has a naturally aged look. This is not something that can be artificially done. If you push down on the leather you can feel the crisp horsehair underneath. The leather has definitely been on this chair for a long time, although this chair is about 150 years old, so it might have been re-done many years ago. This armchair is also very comfortable, which is mainly due to the curved back & deep seat. It's hand tacked around the base & sits on turned mahogany legs with original brass cupped casters. In my opinion, it's one of the nicest examples of this type of armchair that I have come accross.
