Description

An attractive and unusual Art Nouveau and Glasgow School influenced mahogany and inlaid display cabinet. The moulded cornice with open fret work brackets above 2 doors and ends with convex quarries and ornate coppered escutcheons. The shaped and inlaid frieze with alcove behind and backed by an arched and bevel edged mirror. The lower section with circular topped stands and 2 marquetry inlaid drawers, each with coppered Art Nouveau handles. The 2 leaded glazed doors with decorative coloured glass and vaseline glass flower heads. The whole standing on short square legs with ogee moulded block feet and joined with shaped and open fret frieze. Condition - very good with working locks and keys.
