Val St Lambert Blue Glass Metal Overlay Vase C.1920

A scarce metal overlaid Bristol blue glass vase by Val St Lambert c.1920 designed by Leon Ledru and beautifully executed, the gilt metal finish clings to the glass with raised floral decoration and has been cut back to the blue glass to display growing flowers in blue around the body. This unusual Val St Lambert vase is finished with a polished pontil and is in excellent condition standing 10 inches tall.
