A splendid Japanese Meiji period Kutani porcelain figurine of Ebisu, one of the 7 Japanese gods of fortune and the god of Fishermen & luck, depicted here holding a large fish in his left hand while his right hand is raised making a fist with a hole through it for holding what would most likely have been a wooden rod. This fine figurine is beautifully decorated and is in excellent overall condition standing 11 ½ inches tall.
