Japanese Meiji Period IVory Shibayama Bezique Marker

A good Japanese Meiji period bezique or whist marker ivory on rosewood and shibayama inlaid with various semi-precious stones depicting eight bugs on the lift-up markers and a central vine of blossoming flowers. The ivory top lifts slightly in one corner otherwise the condition is excellent with no losses or splits; the marker measures 3 ½ inches in length.
