Description

Impressive late 19th.c. Flemish Renaissance revival carved oak chiffonier side cabinet c.1880. Single long drawer over a two door cupboard of useful depth, fitted with a single shelf inside. Superb carved front with grotesque mask and leaf pattern to the drawer front, and raised panelled doors featuring lion’s masks in high relief within an eight point star-shaped central boss. Further carved heads and pierced scrolling corbels to the corners and raised on a carved and moulded plinth. Solid oak throughout. Excellent colour and condition, with a couple of repairs to the top. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Key supplied.
