A good quality carved oak, settle, hall seat or monk's bench. The back having a wonderful carved panel with an interior scene of an 17th C. male figure joining a maiden sitting at a table. To either side are further panels of carved heads wearing medieval iron helmets. The seat can be lifted to reveal a useful storage area and the carved arm supports are in the form of mythical dragons. The base with further decorative carving and solid end supports.
