The Watersmeet Desk
Here we have this superb partners desk made circa 1860
This desk is made of fine mahogany and with a antiqued green inset writing leather surface.
This leather is hand dyed by our craftsman and then gilt tooled, again by hand.
The partners desk is fitted 3 drawers along the top and then a further 3 graduated drawers in each pedestal each side of the kneehole. The same drawer formation to the rear of the desk
Each drawer with the matching solid brass ring handles
This desk is made in 3 parts, the top lifting off the pedestal bases. This makes it very easy for the desk to be transported and moved around the office or home.
If you find a desk that is not in 3 parts be aware that it is probably not old or has been converted from a dressing table or washstand.
