Hobson May Collection has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
There are two drawers, one to the end and another to the side with iron drop handles. This antique table is a good size and would comfortably seat 8 people, possibly 10. The condition is good, it stands evenly with no wobbles and the drawers run well. There is evidence of old woodworm as you might expect in an antique elm table, this is not live and this has been thoroughly treated. The table is shown with a superb pair of antique elm benches, these are for sale as a separate item on our website, but could be bought with the table if required. A really fabulous table that would add character to any kitchen or dining room.
