A Fabulous Hallmarked Silver Owl Shoe Horn.

1900 - 1920
Description

A fabulous hallmarked silver Owl shoe horn from the Edwardian era. This delightful piece has a double sided Owl handgrip with glass eyes and detailed feathering. Unusually the eyes are a lighter colour to the front than the back. The shoe horn is silver plated and in excellent condition. A wonderful collectable and useable piece.

Condition :- Very good with no dents or splits. The silver is thin to the top of the Owl's head commensurate with age.

Hallmarks :- Clear and readable.

Maker :- Crisford and Norris.

Date :- Birmingham 1909.
